Popped over to Bristol yesterday for some gallery time...
Firstly went to Here gallery to see Across the Way which included flat and 3D illustration by Luke Jinks, Jack Hudson, Adam Hancher, and Owen Gatley
Then went to the newly opened Start space (above Start the Bus) to see Tease Made, an exhibition of tea time related prints by Peskimo and Chris Dickason

Landland
I came across Landland as they produced a beautiful poster for the recent Why? tour. They are a small graphic design and illustration studio based in Minneapolis and work on a lot of lovely music posters.

Kate Gibb
Yesterdays college lecture was from illustrator/screenprint artist Kate Gibb. She talked about the ways she works and how she works with clients and showed us lots of her beautiful work. I found it interesting that she mostly worked with screenprints in a very free, unplanned way so that she doesnt know how the finished work will look.
Danse Dance
A fun film which lets you play with dancing objects in a desk by interacting with the film using your keyboard. This was made for If you could collabarate exhibition by Julien Vallee and Nicolas Burrows, its now available to play with online.

Ok Go
Remember Ok Go? They had that video with the treadmills. Well, they're back with their new single This Too Shall Pass and an equally good new video. Although admittedly this idea has been seen quite a lot in the past few years (The Bravery's video for honest mistake and THAT Honda advert) its a fun, chaotic, colourful take on the idea. I particularly like the cameo appearance of the treadmill video!

Binary & The Brain
This poster was designed for BirdLife International to raise awareness of the 52 species of birds in the UK that are endangered. Each bird is depicted in the poster to create the letterforms and is numbered for identification. Clever, stylish and for a good cause!
