This is my second post about this collaborative duo, better know for their work in film. This new piece of work was commissioned by selfridges to celebrate the opening of their new shoe department, but finishes at the beginning of november. They've taken mundane household objects and turned them into extravagant sculptural surreal shoe designs.

Exercises on How to be cool.
This is a new project by video installation artist Ruaidhri Ryan. Keep an eye on his website in the next few weeks for a series of amusing little videos.
"The shorts are about my embarassing failure to do anything cool, in a paired down way, I play a clown. They follow on from some of my previous videos, where I took scenes from existing movies where the protagonist is playing a macho or sexy character, and I fail to replicate their performance. These new videos play less with specific films and more of an amalgamation of ideas of "what cool is" based on images/adverts/movies."
